All in-person classes take place on the Mira Costa High School campus Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–2:00pm, starting June 22 and ending Thursday, July 30. Students must attend daily and classrooms are assigned the week prior to the start of classes. All grades are whole grades, no plus or minus.
Asynchronous, self-paced online learning. Students have from June 22 to July 30 at 11:59pm to complete both semesters. Various times and dates are available for testing.
MBX has partnered with Edmentum Online Learning Courseware to offer comprehensive, standards-aligned, interactive and media-rich courses. Please note grades may not be finalized on the last day of the semester, as teachers may require additional time to grade finals and evaluate final projects.
All finals must be taken in person at Mira Costa High School.
Students have until July 30, 2026 at 11:59pm to complete coursework. Students can only retake a class if they previously earned a D or F. Please do not register until you know your student's final grade. All other online learning conditions above apply.

For students looking for practice with algebra fundamentals to feel more confident and prepared for Algebra 1.

Mon, Tue & Thu 10:00am–12:00pm at Mira Costa High School
Taught by professional college counselors, this session takes students through the Common App process with tips and strategies to optimize each section. The workshop does not include essay drafting and takes place on Zoom.
August 3 – August 7
Monday–Friday 10:00am–12:00pm
