MBX administers athletics and visual & performing arts at Manhattan Beach Middle School. Registration is through 6Crickets — each offering has its own registration button, and select programs are supported through donation. MBMS is excited to partner with MBX and take our after school sports to another level. If your student is trying out for Fall MBMS Athletics, review the MBMS Athletics Presentation Slideshow and Recording to hear about important registration and tryout information, including what you need to know before participating.
NEW THIS YEAR: All athletes trying out for a sport must register prior to attending tryouts.
Please review the following steps for the MBMS Fall Sports tryout and registration process, which include Boys Flag Football, Cheer, Cross Country, and Girls Volleyball.

Register through 6crickets prior to tryouts. Credit card information is collected during registration, but your card will not be charged unless your student makes the team.
Students registered through 6crickets will be checked in for tryouts. Students who are not registered will not be permitted to participate that day.
After tryouts, the coach will post a list of students who have made the team.
The final team list will be sent to MBX.
MBX will send an official registration letter to families. At that time, the credit card on file will be charged for students who made the team.
The Athletic Director will communicate the team schedule and practice times directly to families.
