How MBX Foundation handles information collected through this website.

Who we are

MBX Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based at 1401 Artesia Blvd., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. We operate this website at mbxfoundation.org. You can reach us at mail@mbxfoundation.org or (424) 450-8MBX.

What this website collects

This website is largely informational. The only information we collect directly is what you choose to send us through our contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • The subject you select and the message you write

We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to route it to the right member of our team. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to any mailing list without your asking.

Contact form submissions are processed and stored by our website host, Netlify, and are also delivered to us by email.

What we do not collect

This website does not use advertising trackers, and it does not set analytics or marketing cookies. We do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.

Registration and payments happen elsewhere

We do not process registrations or payments on this website. When you register for a program, make a donation, or buy from a booster club store, you are taken to a third-party platform that operates under its own privacy policy and terms:

  • 6Crickets — After School Program registration
  • ACTIVE Communities — booster club contributions and MBX program payments
  • Square — individual booster club spirit stores
  • Constant Contact — our monthly newsletter
  • Facilitron — facility rental bookings

Any personal or payment information you enter on those platforms is held by them, not by this website. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for parents, guardians and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site, and our contact form is not directed at children.

Where a program requires information about a student, that information is collected by the relevant registration platform or by MBX directly as part of enrollment, and is used only to run the program safely. It is not published on this website.

Photographs of students

We publish photographs of students taking part in MBX programs, activities and events. These are used to represent our programs to the community and are not accompanied by names or identifying details unless permission has been given.

If you would like a photograph of your child removed from this website, please contact us at mail@mbxfoundation.org and we will remove it promptly.

Links to other websites

This website links to schools, booster club websites, social media and program partners. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Embedded fonts

This website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google’s servers to retrieve them.

How long we keep information

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to and record the enquiry.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mail@mbxfoundation.org and we will respond as promptly as we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date below.
