Mira Costa Girls’ Golf has competed since 2000. Come out and support us at the 2026 Hometown Fair booth!
There are two levels: Varsity and Junior Varsity. Mira Costa’s home course is Chester Washington Golf Course for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Arrangements have been made with courses in the area for price reductions on range fees and drastically reduced prices for small-group lessons.
Girls’ golf allows young golfers to develop their skills while having fun. We are looking for players with some experience who are willing to make a commitment to golf.
Donations go directly to the program — coaching, equipment and season costs.

Tryout dates & tee times: August 12, 2026 3:56–4:20pm; August 13 3:56–4:20pm; August 17 3:56–4:28pm. Location: Chester Washington, 1818 Charlie Sifford Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90047.
Open to new and returning players. To register, complete Athletic Clearance and email Coach Skylar at snorwood2@mbusd.org. Required equipment: set of golf clubs, golf shoes, golf glove, tees and golf balls.
The season starts August 31, 2026 and ends October 14, 2026. Practices are on days when there are no matches (no practice or matches on Fridays). The Summer MBX Golf Camp runs 3–4 weeks starting the first Monday after school ends.
