    Session 1 -- Accelerated Math 7 Prep: July 29 - August 2, 9 am to noon (Math 6/7 --> Math 7/8)
    Session 2 -- Algebra 1 Prep: July 29 - August 2, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Incoming 8th graders only)
    Session 3 -- Accelerated Math 7 Prep: August 5 - 9, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Math 6/7 --> Math 7/8)
    Session 4 -- Algebra 1 Prep: August 12 - 16, 9 am to noon  (Incoming 8th graders only)
    Session 5 -- Algebra 2 Honors Prep: August 12 -16, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm 
    Session 6 -- PSAT Math Prep: August 12 - 16, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Prerequisite Geometry)
24 Jump Start Accelerated Math is designed to help middle and high school students who are enrolled in an accelerated or honors course for the school year of 24-25 so that they may get a jump start during summer.  It is designed to help the students to the concepts they have acquired in the prior year, obtain a bird-eye perspective of the common core standards, to develop various strategies in solving real-life problems, to connect the dots between their prior knowledge and the next level of mathematics, and to learn helpful tips on how to succeed in the higher math.
This year, we are offering new Algebra 2 Honors Prep sessions along with a PSAT Math Prep session.  Algebra 2 Honors program will focus on inverse functions (ex. inverse of polynomial functions, exponential vs. logarithmic functions) and Trigonometry.  PSAT will give the tools for students to get ready for the PSAT in October.

Lastly, there is an all-summer program for students who wish to stay sharp and engaged during the summer break.  Each student will be given a diagnostic test at the beginning of the summer and after having the test analyzed, any identified gap or weakness will be targeted to improve the student’s readiness for next year.  Each week, students will receive few worksheets and a list of IXL’s to do.  They will also have a very flexible, weekly 30-minute Zoom time with me (Mr. Kim) to go over their worksheet and get set up for the following week.  Please, contact me for more information.
