After running Cross Country and Track and Field at Mira Costa, Duke University freshman Dalia Frias was named as the Atlantic Coast Conference female freshman of the year for Womens cross country. The international Odyssey of the Mind competition involves creativity and fast thinking… and Manhattan Beach kids are dominating the competition. The VRC (VEX Robotics Competition) World Championships were held this past week between May 17 and May 22. This year, over 900 middle school teams and over 2400 high school teams participated in the 2020 – 2021 competition season. Teams came to the World Championships to represent their home country/state

Melia Chittenden is a two-time cross country/track & field team captain and a First Team All-Ivy and All-Region honoree. She qualified for the NCAA Cross Country championship in 2019, and has been named an NCAA Academic All-American three times.
