Mira Costa Athletic Complex Update

Abatement activities completed over the Winter Break, and demolition is about 50% complete. Fun fact: the demo and hauling process includes sorting the debris and sending various products to different places for recycle – i.e. steel is sent to steel recycle. Work is right on schedule and continues through the rain. Demolition is scheduled to be completed by February, with a ground breaking ceremony scheduled for Friday, February 15. Gym sports, girls and boys basketball are playing and practicing in other local facilities, largely at MBMS. For games and locations for boys basketball click here.
