MBX AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT

Attendees at the recent Tedx Event on November 2 were treated to a very special speaker…our very own MBX Foundation After School Enrichment Instructor, Rasheme Ellington.

Rasheme spoke to a full house and delivered a dynamics performance. Rasheme has been teaching the game of Chess for over 20 years, as well as being a financial educator, entrepreneur and family man. If the last name sounds familiar, Rasheme’s Dad is the Fantastic Rue Ellington. Rue, along with his wife Vicky, have been teaching the game of Chess to our After School Enrichment students at the 5 elementary schools for over 25 years. We offer 3 After School Enrichment sessions every school year, and Rue and Rasheme’s Chess classes are always on our schedule…and they always sell out. MBX Foundation & the Manhattan Beach community is so fortunate to have this dynamic team.
