Congratulations to the Costa Indoor Drumline Team who took 1st place in the Scholastic Open division of the Whittier Competition. The Indoor Drumline Team performed their show, “Rite of the Mountain Spirit”. They followed this up with a Second Place win at the ADLA Semi Finals at King High School
The Jazz 1 ensemble left on March 24th to attend the Essentially Ellington Regional Jazz Festival at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona. They will perform the music of Duke Ellington and other Big Band performers on March 26th and receive feedback from noted Jazz professionals before heading home.
It was another busy month for all of the MCHS Band programs. The month started with a very successful All District Band Festival on March 1st featuring all of the districts bands, which includes elementary school through middle school, and all of the high school ensembles. The MCHS Marching Band
The All-District Bands Festival will be on Thursday, March 1 at 6:30 in the MCHS Auditorium. This concert will feature students from all the band programs in the district: elementary schools, MBMS and all the concert bands at the high school, as well as the Jazz Band and Marching Band. It is
