Winterguard is a dynamic program at Mira Costa that allows students in every grade to compete and develop their skills. We have grown to both a varsity and junior varsity team and compete throughout the state. Supported by engaging Coaches and hard-working parent volunteers, our Winterguard Team thrives because of donations from our families and the generosity of our community.
MBUSD pays for a portion of our Head Coach and a portion of our assistant coaches. Your donation will continue to fund the Coaches’ remaining stipends, tournament costs, equipment, uniforms, and other costs of running the program.

We started training for Colorguard in 2022, finished in first place as a Colorguard Team at WBA Championship and then had our last Winterguard competition in April with Varsity finishing with several first place finishes in the SA Division and our JV Winterguard team getting bronze at the WGASC Championship!…
