Girls Indoor Volleyball had an incredible season with all three teams — Frosh/Soph, JV and Varsity — sweeping the Bay League undefeated.
The Varsity team competed at the highest levels at both CIF and State tournaments as well as national tournaments. By the end of the season, CIF ranked Mira Costa 6th in the state. National polls like USA Today and Prep Volleyball ranked Mira Costa among the Top 20 teams in the nation. Thank you coaches Cam Green, Nancy Mason, Nicole Rouche and Chris Flood, families, administrators, student fans and community sponsors for incredible support all season!
Congratulations to senior college commits Ellie Geoghegan (San Diego State), Skylar Gerhardt (Villanova), Shannon Knight (Lafayette), Molly Trodd (Tulane – beach vb), and Bella Young (UC Santa Cruz) who will undoubtedly bring their grit, power and team camaraderie to their college teams next year.
