Girls Tennis comes up short in loss to Peninsula in Semifinals!

In the semifinals of the CIF Open Division Playoffs, Mira Costa, the 3rd-seeded team in the Open Division, lost to Peninsula, the 2nd-seeded team in the Open Division, 8 to 10.   In singles, Audrey Vo (MC) won one set 6-1; Haily Huynh (MC) won one set 6-2; and Ella Davis (MC) won one set 6-0.  In doubles, Kacey Feng/Sydney Vo (MC) won three sets 7-5, 6-4, and 6-0; Peyton Douglas/Kiki Daviduk (MC) won one set 6-3; and Olga Nagy/Amanda Scott (MC) won one set 6-2.

The Mustangs next play in the SoCal Regionals next Friday, November 22, at The Claremont Club, against an opponent to be determined.
