Congrats to Boys Tennis and to Junior Kelly Giese on winning the Bay League Championship in singles!

Congratulations to Junior Kelly Giese for winning the Bay League Championships in Singles!  Kelly beat the #1 seed from Peninsula  6-3,3-6, 10-7.  Kelly will continue playing in the CIF individual playoffs in June.  Good Luck Kelly!

The Mira Costa Boys tennis team finished their season with a 10-4 record, 2nd in Bay League behind Peninsula and ranked #8 in the CIF Open Division.  They had a tough first round CIF playoff match against #1 University High in Irvine.  Kelly Giese and Will Lokier teamed up in doubles and won all three of their matches.  Zach Wohl and Ethan Crowley also grabbed a set for Costa, along with Noah Daniels in singles.  University proved to be the powerhouse they are known for and defeated Costa 13-5.

Thank you to the coaches and parents for all their support this season, and we are so thankful we got to have a season!  Congratulations and good luck to the eight seniors:  Arya Samimi, Eshann Soma, Ian Schlatter, Nick Samuelian, Noah Daniels, Rahul Singh, Vikram Arora and Zach Wohl!  We will miss you!
