Surf Team competes against Palos Verdes in first contest of the season!

On Wednesday, January 22, the Costa Surf Team had their first head to head contest of 2020 against PV High School at 26th Street in Manhattan Beach.  There was a significant swell and the surf was pumping.  The contest was called on and Costa surfers took to the water.  Costa pulled out a win in every heat and tied one heat.  The overall score was Costa 86  and PV 60.  Congratulations to all athletes who paddled out and braved the high surf and cold temps.

The team will continue to have head to head contests vs other local high schools over the next several months and Costa Surf heads to State Championships on March 7-8, 2020, in Dana Point at Salt Creek Beach.
