MCHS GIRLS RUGBY CLOSES THE SEASON IN 2ND PLACE 

The Mira Costa Girls Rugby season came to an end at the SCRIF Championship Tournament at Mission Bay High School in San Diego on February 8th. The Mustangs are coming off yet another successful season. Led by Team Captains Allie Lindblad and VeVe Rice, our A side team has showcased determination and tenacity this season, with a hard-fought 11-10 final season record and delivering some memorable performances on the pitch. The A side team end their season as the #2 Team in SCRIF. Likewise, our B side team has demonstrated grit and perseverance throughout the season, ending with an 8-7 season record and setting the stage for a strong future in the program. 

Although sad to have the season end, the team looks forward to competing in New Zealand over Spring Break, where they will play in three separate 7’s Rugby tournaments.
