The Costa Model UN program recently attended the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC) hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.

From touring the campus, visiting the National Constitution Center, and eating Philly cheesesteaks, Costa students received the opportunity to explore Philadelphia and bond with peers. In debate, the conference was an immense success, with Costa bringing home five best dual delegation awards, four outstanding awards, one honorable mention award, and one verbal commendation award. As a whole, Mira Costa won Best Large Delegation, a first in Costa History at ILMUNC. Going forward, select Costa delegates are now preparing for the National High School Model United Nations Conference (NHSMUN) hosted in New York. –The MUN press corps.
