MUN Update – March 2025

Mira Costa Model UN has been hard at work, traveling to New York’s prestigious NHSMUN Conference where the program took home the Best Large Delegation Award, 4 Awards of Distinction, and 6 Plenary Speaker Awards on March 12th. From the debate itself, to hearing a speech from former President Joe Biden, to speaking in front of thousands of people, Costa delegates were able to make the Costa MUN program proud at NHSMUN 2025.

Keeping on the topic of Best Delegation, Mira Costa MUN took on ComedySportz for their annual MUN vs. ComedySportz match, where MUN took home the gavel with a close score of 34 to 33! In April, Costa MUN is excited to travel to Vancouver, where they will compete in CAHSMUN. Currently, delegates are eagerly preparing solutions and practicing speeches.
