MCHS Model UN Team earns Best Class delegation at the University of California Berkeley!
The Mira Costa High School Model UN team traveled to compete at the University of California’s Model United Nations Conference, in Berkeley CA on March 6-8, 2020.
Berkeley Model United Nations (BMUN) is a student run organization on the UC Berkeley campus dedicated to continuing its six decades of excellence as the world’s premier — and very first — United Nations simulation. Every March, over 2,000 high school students from all over the world come to Berkeley to participate in Berkeley Model United Nations. Entering its 68th session, BMUN’s mission is to spread awareness of international issues and the spirit of diplomacy through UN simulations.
The Mira Costa team returned with 7 commendations, 3 outstandings and Best Class/delegation (Berkeley gives delegation awards based on clubs and classes).
