As the new school year begins, the countdown to LAIMUN, Mira Costa’s annual Model UN conference hosted in December, grows closer!

Students have been finalizing committee topic synopses in preparation to chair and dias their debate committees. Additionally, our sophomores who have newly joined the Advanced MUN program are finishing up sophomore testing, an assignment where they are tasked in learning and reciting various poems, speeches, and rules to improve speaking skills and grow as Model UN delegates. Overall, the Mira Costa Model UN program is looking forward to a great year!
