The Mira Costa Golf Team had an amazing season under the direction of Coach Thomas Cox!

The Varsity Girls Golf Team ended their season at the Costa Mesa Country Club on November 4, 2019. Shani Waite (Sr./ Captain) finished as an Individual at the Western Hills Country Club on November 7, 2019 at the CIF Individual Championship. For the seventh straight season, The Varsity Girls were Bay League Champions and the Junior Varsity Team secured the Bay League Championship.  The Bay League First Team, All League players were Shani Waite (Sr),  Gabrielle Kiger (Sr./Captain), and Juliae Shoda (Jr.).  The Bay League Second Team was Sarah Matsuoka (Jr.), Kate Stargardter (Jr.), and Hannah Gideon (So).    The entire team worked hard and they are looking forward to the next season.  Awards and Recognition for their efforts were held at their End Of The Year Banquet on November 21, 2019 at the Portofino Hotel.  Most Valuable Player was awarded to team captain Shani Waite (Sr.) and Rookie of the Year was awarded to Lucy Langlois (Fr.).  Gabrielle Kiger (Sr.) was awarded Player of the Year. The Mustang Team Award and Break Through Season Award was given to Sarah Matsuoka (Jr.).  JV Player of the Year was awarded to Grace Kiger (Fr.) and Toulou Sham (Jr/). Costa Prospect Award was awarded to Kate Rogoff (Fr.).
