Football Updates!

Thank you – Mira Costa thanks the coaches, supporters, Costa administrators and MBX for making a season possible for the Varsity, JV and Freshmen teams! Varsity completed their season last Friday with an extraordinary win (35-14) over Redondo Beach. The team finished the season with a record of 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the Bay League.

Be a part of the Mustang football tradition by joining football summer conditioning (non-contact, no pads) offered through MBX! Get in shape and bond with teammates from June 21-July 23. Incoming freshman meet 2-4 pm. All others meet 3:30-6 pm. Sign-up via MBX today!

Tryout Info

Football is a Fall Sport. Conditioning occurs year-round for players who do not play other Costa sports.
In 2020, football athletes are safely conditioning (non-contact) in small cohorts. Football has traditionally been a no-cut sport (except for lack of commitment).
Experience is welcome, but not mandatory. Most players have never played organized tackle football before their freshman summer.
Mira Costa Football will offer summer conditioning (no pads/non-contact] to all players and interested incoming freshman through MBX. Registration and complete information will be available in March.
