Costa rallies, but ultimately loses to Redondo in final minutes. First round CIF Game is Friday!

Last Friday Costa Football played rival Redondo Beach on Friday night.  The Mustangs football team spotted their crosstown rivals from Redondo Beach to a 2-20 lead in the 3rd quarter. However this Mustang team has plenty of fight in them as they scored 21 points to give Costa a 23-20 lead with only 3:42 left in the game. Unfortunately for the Mustangs, the Seahawks were able to drive the length of the field giving them the game winning score. Costa finishes 3rd in the Bay League which gives the Mustangs a CIF playoff match vs. Crescenta Valley High School this Friday night.
