Choir performs final concert of the year!
Mira Costa Choirs has come to the end of an amazing year. This past week, the four choirs and two a cappella groups sang their final concert of the year to a large and enthusiastic audience. From Mozart to Mercury, all the choirs sang with artistry, commitment and heart. This concert also honored the graduating seniors. These wonderful people have given so much to the choral department and they will be missed by all. The concert was streamed live on Facebook and can be seen on the Mira Costa Choirs Facebook page.
On Saturday, June 8, the two a cappella ensembles, Coterie and Mira Costa Muscle, were guests of MBEF and sang at the 25th anniversary of the MBEF Wine Auction. Alternating back and forth and finishing with a combined selection, the two ensembles captured the attention of the crowd, bringing them back to their tables for the auction portion of the evening. Congratulations to Coterie and Mira Costa Muscle for a great performance.
As we come to the end of this year, a special thanks goes to the Mira Costa Choirs Boosters and our President, Sene Gray. Without Sene’s leadership and the Boosters hard work, we could not do what we do. They work tirelessly to fundraise and organize, making Mira Costa Choirs so successful . Thanks to all and best wishes for great summer Mustangs!
