Summer Baseball Camp – Various Dates

Mira Costa Baseball will be offering two Summer Camp options this year over 3 different weeks including June 24, July 15 and July 29 weeks. A Half Day Baseball Camp with Skills Training offered by the Costa Baseball Coaches and Players and a Half Day Camp with an Extended Day/Speciality Positions camp option. All sessions include T-Shirt/Hat, Snacks and Fresh Brothers Kids Meal. Half Day is 9am-1230pm and Extended Day is 9am-130pm

Tryout Info

Baseball is a Spring Sport.
Baseball is a cut sport with Varsity, JV and Frosh/Soph teams.
Tryouts will be held 9/5/23- 9/8/23 at the baseball field, beginning at 3:30. All incoming Freshmen, returning non-Varsity program players, and any new players are required to try out.

Tryouts are in November and late January for players in Winter sports.

Prior experience is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Most players are involved in travel baseball teams, Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach Little League Juniors Division; Mira Costa Pony League or other organized baseball. Prospective players may be enrolled in 6 th period PE “Baseball” for fall semester, but are subject to space limitations.
Games begin in early February and end early May, followed by CIF playoffs. Formal
practices begin in January.
Mira Costa Baseball’s regular season begins on February 11, 2023 and all players are required to attend practices and games during Ski Week and Spring Break.
Athletes work out and practice in the fall and winter if they are not enrolled in other sports.
