Bands & Guard closed out an exceptional season with three jam-packed weekends of performance and competition.

First, Marching Band & Colorguard traveled to the WBA Grand Championships in Fresno, earning the 2nd highest score in Music Ensemble out of 36 groups in Saturday’s Class Championships, ultimately finishing 5th in Sunday’s finale–Costa’s highest placement at WBA Grand Championships ever. The team, then, marched in two parades to kick off the holidays at Manhattan Beach Village and PV Parade of Lights. The Winter Concert showcased the hard work and semester-long dedication of three concert ensembles, the jazz band, and a revival of the Symphony Band. Finally, Costa Jazz Band continued its annual tradition at Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks, gracing the stage with splashy holiday renditions before the spectacular light show.
