Academic Courses

Small Group In Person – minimum of 4 students – two hours daily with teacher plus three plus hours of asynchronous learning for all classes except science, which is three hours daily. (Registration ends May 10, 3:00pm)

Traditional Class In Person(approx. 1:30) minimum of 15 – 8:30am – 2:00pm

Online Learning – Initial credit, asynchronous, self paced online learning

MBX Foundation has partnered with Imagine Edgenuity Online Learning Courseware to offer comprehensive asynchronous, self-paced online courses. Our course catalog is robust, featuring standards-aligned, interactive, and media-rich content designed to be personalized, engaging, and rigorous.

Students have the flexibility to work on their courses at any time, with each semester comprising approximately 60 hours of coursework. This workload is equivalent to completing around 5 hours per day for a duration of 12 days. This means each DAY of summer equates to one WEEK of traditional classroom time. Our online learning platform allows students to work ahead and finish their coursework earlier if they wish.

Please note, grades may not be finalized on the last day of the semester as teachers may require additional time to grade finals and evaluate final projects, leading to a grading delay.

** The administrator of the program will reach out to each student weekly, help students get started and be available to help students if needed via zoom.

Credit Recovery – Students have 6 weeks to complete a one semester course, following the summer school dates. See other information under Online Learning above.
